We have five groups of Young Embroiderers at the moment, Derbyshire, Chesterfield, Leicester, Lincoln and Nottingham Central with a new one in the offing in Ashbourne.
They are thriving groups, each with their own personality. Some run monthly, some run just in the holidays, all are fun and inspirational giving children an oportunity to explore creativity with textiles and stitch, an opportunity that is sadly missing from most children's lives at the moment.

Kettering Branch invites you to join them at the East Midlands FESTIVAL OF STITCH 2010 on Saturday May 8th 2010 at the The Masque Community Performing Arts Centre, Latimer College in Barton Seagrave, Kettering, Northamptonshire

Kettering is organising this in their tenth year and the event is happening in the tenth year of the 21st Century - but what does ?TEN? mean to you?
More information, including the name of the key speaker will be circulated over the coming months.
Recognizing the lives of convict women deported from the UK to 'parts unknown' in the 19th century. The bonnets serve as part of the commemoration of the transportation of thousands of women.
Thank you to all who have taken part and stitched a bonnet. The bonnets will be on show along with history boards at the Festival of Stitch at Market Harborough on Saturday 10th May 2008.
