We are a small but enthusiastic Branch with members of all abilities.
We meet in a new village hall at Buckhorn Weston, just 5 minutes from the A30. The hall has modern facilities and good lighting. Our meetings begin at 10.00 on the 4th Saturday of each calendar month (August and December excepted).
We welcome new members and visitors, from beginners to experts.
There is an interesting programme of workshops each year aiming to cover members' interests and new developments.
Workshops are planned for each meeting and these are booked in advance though it it is not necessary to join them. Some members bring their own work to do, but can sometimes buy items from the lecturer should they want to add to their own resources.
We pay £2 for the day, we have free tea & coffee available all day but break at 12.30 for our own packed lunch. We have useful a 'Show and Tell' time at about 3.15 which rounds off the day.
