A Passion for an Honest Craft

...exquisite couture in handmade felt...

Contemporary handmade felt that celebrates traditional techniques with a distinctive, personal response to materials. Exquisite couture designs showing the skilful use of fine quality wools, silks and cashmere to create stunning, gossamer fabrics for accessories and interiors: Boas, wraps, scarves and striking wall pieces, mostly to commission.

Liz Clay is an internationally renowned textile artist who specialises in handmade felt for couture garments and other niche products. She is an experienced teacher and University lecturer and author of Nuno Felt, a book devoted to this fascinating felt making technique.
