13th OCTOBER - A workshop with Pat Mann - CREWEL WORK - this will run from 10am-4pm. You will be required to bring a packed lunch and requirements for the workshop are usual sewing items and specialised requirements will be available on the day.
10th NOVEMBER - 'Family Connections Through Embroidery' - A talk from ANNE BURROW 2pm-4pm
8th DECEMBER - Christmas Jacobs Join starting at 12 noon, followed by a CANDLEWICKING workshop with Anne Read.

12th JANUARY - Embroidery for a Plastic Canvas bag (this is the first part and will be followed by a full day workshop in July), with Jan Newton 2pm-4pm.
9th FEBRUARY - Making a FABRIC COVERED BOX. Workshop with Ann Wright 10am to 4pm - general sewing equipment plus a glue stick will be required. Further details can be obtained from a member of the group. Don't forget to bring a packed lunch!
8th MARCH - DOLLS WITH ATTITUDE - a talk by Kathryn Thompson 2pm - 4pm
12th APRIL - In the morning there will be a MOUNTMELLICK workshop from 10am-2pm, (bring a packed lunch) followed by a talk by Rina Porter 'A VILLAGE IN INDIA' 2pm-4pm
10th MAY - BACK TO BASICS WITH MACHINE EMBROIDERY - a workshop with Ann Hunter. Sewing machines will be required. From 10am - 4pm
14th JUNE - This will be a trip to the Harris Museum in Preston. Meet at Barbon village hall at 2pm.
12th JULY - Workshop with Jan Newton making up the Plastic Canvas Bag, (following meeting in January). 10am - 4pm.
No meeting in August
PLEASE NOTE - the SEPTEMBER meeting is on the third Thursday in the month in order that we do not clash with the Westmorland County Show. Further details will be posted at a later date - this meeting includes our AGM.
