23rd October ~ "SILK BOWLS" ~ Tutor; MAGGIE MURRAY
Sewing machines will be required for this class, Maggie will bring along kits containing the required materials.
Suitable for all levels.
13th November ~ "SUMPTUOUS SAMPLES" ~ Tutor; JEAN MELLIN
The samples will be created using a variety of machine embroidery techniques.
This class will be repeated on 27th November 2010 to enable more members to attend.
We hope that Jean will be taking a class later in the year when the skill learned will be put to use to make an embroidered bag.
2011
12th & 13th February ~ "USING LINE & COLOUR" ~ Tutor; ALISON KING
Taking an object and using its lines and colours students will work up a small piace to be stitched either by hand or machine. Suitable for all levels.
26th February ~ HAND STITCHING" ~ Tutor; PAT HODGSON
Suitable to beginners and others, materials will be provided.
